Night at Shuttleworth Park

On Saturday July 17th the Johnstown Moose will have a night at Shuttleworth Park in Amsterdam. We will be watching the Amsterdam Mohawks play baseball against the Watertown Wizards. Tickets will be available for you at the Lodge at no cost to members and guests. Why not join us for a great night of baseball and watch our own Wright Smith throw out the first pitch.

Picnics, Barbeques and Horce Racing

Check out the news out for the Annual Picnic, Chicken Barbeque and Sunday in August at the Flat Track in Saratoga. There will be a limited number of seats available for the Saratoga trip so sign up early and save your seat. Sign up sheet will be at the bar.

Joint Orientation

A Joint Orientation program will be held Friday, June 25th so get those applications in—The application must be accompanied with the $20.000 application fee. Dues may be paid with the application or on the night of orientation. Dues are now $45.00 per year—A Prime Rib Dinner will be provided for the candidates and their sponsors beginning at 5:30pm

Golf League

The Moose Golf League is well under way at the Fox Run Golf Course. The league plays on Tuesday afternoons and are always looking for new “hackers”. Tee times are available and after golf players return to the Lodge for hamburgers, French fries and other offerings. Experienced or not—we need golfers  so stop in at the club for details.

Nascar Sundays

Don’t forget NASCAR Sundays—On Sundays we will be featuring Drink specials during the NASCAR Races. Come in and enjoy the races on our Big Screen TV—Root your favorite driver to the finish line.

Don't Forget the Usual Stuff

As always we will be serving dinners both on Fridays and Wednesdays with entertainment on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Dinners are open to members and qualified guests. Check your calendar for menus—chicken wings with beer specials are offered on Thursday nights something for everyone—so join us and support your Lodge.

Coming in October — We have set up a bus trip to Mohegan Sun in October—watch the newsletter for further details. The bus will be leaving from the Lodge at 7:00am and will be leaving the Casino at 6:00pm arrive back at the Lodge approximately 10:00pm The trip is planned for a Saturday. There will be a sign up sheet at the bar at a later date.
